The Annandale Swim & Tennis Club is located at 7530 Little River Turnpike (Route 236) behind Wendy's restaurant between Medford Drive and Woodland Road, about one-half mile inside the Capital Beltway (I-495).
Arlington Forest Club

We are located 4 tenths of a mile north of Rt. 50 on Carlin Springs Rd. Carlin Springs Rd. crosses Rt. 50/Arlington Blvd. 5 miles east of 495.
From 495, take Rt.50/Arlington Blvd. east approximately 5 miles. The Carlin Springs Rd. exit is on the right about 1.5 miles past 7 Corners and just past the light at Manchester. From the Carlin Springs exit take a left onto Carlin Springs Rd. AFC is about 4 tenths of a mile on the left at the top of the hill.

From 495 South: Take exit 51 Gallows Road. Stay in the middle lane and turn left on Gallows Road and then make a quick right onto Holly Rd. (there is an Exxon station right there). At the first stop sign make a left on Saxony Drive. At the end, make another left on Camelot Drive. Park on Camelot Drive. The pool is at the end of Balin Ct. which is a 'no traffic' street so you have to walk.
From 495 North: Take exit 51 Gallows Road. At the stoplight make a left onto Gallows Road. At the next stop light you need to make a U-turn to face the opposite direction on Gallows Road. Then make a quick right on Holly Rd. (there is an Exxon station on the corner). At the first stop sign make a left on Saxony Drive. At the end, make another left on Camelot Drive. From Little River Turnpike: From Annandale: After you pass the beltway entrance and before you see NOVA Annandale Campus, you will see the entrance wall to the subdivision -CAMELOT. Turn right onto King Arthur Road. Make a right on Camelot Drive. Balin Court will be a right turn off Camelot Drive. You cannot drive on Balin Court so park on Camelot Drive and walk down Balin Ct. to the pool.
From Little River Turnpike: From Fairfax: You will pass the NOVA Annandale Campus. Coming from this direction you will pass the subdivision on the left but you can't turn in there so you have to go to the next stoplight and turn there. It will be a left turn at the light on Duncan Drive and then an immediate left and an immediate right to get onto King Arthur Road (at the CAMELOT entrance sign). Make a right on Camelot Drive. Balin Court will be a right turn off Camelot Drive. You cannot drive on Balin Court so park on Camelot Drive and walk down Balin Ct. to the pool.

Go west on Braddock Road (VA 620) for about 3 miles

Go for less than a 1/2 mile and the pool is on the right. You will pass Pommeroy Drive on the left and if you see Coleridge, you've gone too far.
From the West:

At the light make a left to go East on Braddock. Take Braddock road for 2 1/2 miles (you'll go past George Mason University on the left). Mansion House Club, situated on the Potomac River next to George Washington's Mount Vernon estate, is accessible via either the George Washington Parkway or Route 1. We recommend the parkway because there are no lights, less traffic, and it's more scenic.
The GW Parkway directions:
From the Capital Beltway, take Exit 177B, Route 1 North/Mount Vernon. At the first light, turn right onto Franklin Street. At the next light, turn right onto South Washington Street, which becomes the GW Parkway. Go approximately 8.9 miles until you come to Mount Vernon. At the stop sign, go straight onto Route 235 South. Go approximately .5 miles to the first light. At the light, turn left onto Old Mount Vernon Road, and go approximately .8 miles to the entrance to Mansion House on the left.
Route 1 directions:
From the Capital Beltway, take Exit 177A, Route 1 South/Fort Belvoir. Go south on Route 1 for approximately 4.4 miles. Just after passing the Multiplex Cinema, turn left onto Route 235, Mount Vernon Highway. When the road forks, stay to the right, onto Route 623, Old Mount Vernon Road. Go straight on Old Mount Vernon Road and at the first light, stay straight. After the light, go approximately .8 miles to the entrance to Mansion House on the left.
From the South:
Take Route 1 North, past Fort Belvoir. Turn right onto Route 235 North, across from Woodlawn Plantation. At the third light, turn right onto Old Mount Vernon Road and go approximately .8 miles to the entrance to Mansion House on the left.

Head West on the Dulles Tollway (Route 267). Get off at the Fairfax County Parkway (Exit #11). At stoplight turn Left (South) onto the Fairfax County Parkway. Go three stoplights (approx. 1.1 miles) and turn Left onto Fox Mill Road. Follow Fox Mill Road to Pinecrest Road (approximately 6 tenths of a mile). Turn Right and the Pool is on the Left.
Head West on 66 and get off on Route 50 West. Stay on Route 50 through 2 lights and exit Right (North) onto the Fairfax County Parkway. Proceed 5 miles or 6 stoplights to Fox Mill Road. Turn Right onto Fox Mill Road and stay on Fox Mill Road to Pinecrest Road (approximately 6 tenths of a mile). Turn Right onto Pinecrest Road. The Pool is located at the intersection of Pinecrest Road and Fox Mill Road.
From Reston / Great Falls
From Baron Cameron (606), take Reston Avenue south to Fox Mill Road (3 miles). Fox Mill Road will be the 4th stoplight after you cross over the Dulles Tollway. Turn Right onto Fox Mill Road and go to the second Right (Pinecrest Road) and turn Left. The Pool is located at the intersection of Pinecrest Road and Fox Mill Road.

(South). Continue on Fairfax County Parkway until Burke Centre Parkway and turn Left. Go appr. 1/2 mile on Burke Centre Parkway until the Light at Ox Road (123) turn left on Ox road heading North. At Fourth Light Zion Drive make a right - Pool is 1/2 Mile on right.
From the Beltway take the Braddock Road Exit. Appr. 6 miles on Braddock Road until Ox Road, 123 - Turn left heading South. Go appr 1 mile turn Left on Zion Drive pool on Right.

Approaching from the South.
From the beltway (495) and Rte 236 Little River Turnpike.
Exit the beltway heading east on 236. At the intersection of LRT and
Backlick Road at the Fuddruckers (about 2 miles inside the beltway) Turn left onto Backlick Road. Travel one block to Columbia Pike. Turn right onto Columbia Pike. Travel about one mile to the intersection of Sleepy Hollow Road and Columbia Pike. This is just past Mason District Park on the right. Sleepy Hollow Road ends at Columbia Pike so you can only turn left or go straight at the intersection. Turn left onto Sleepy Hollow Road. SHBR is ~ 1.5 miles down Sleepy Hollow Road on the left just over the bridge.
Do not confuse SHBR with SHRA. They are adjacent to one another. SHRA is just before crossing the bridge.
Approaching from the North.
From the beltway (495) and Rte 50 Arlington Blvd.
Exit the beltway heading east on 50. You will pass Loehmann's Plaza on your right at traffic lights 3&4. At the 5th traffic light, you will be at an intersection (just past the Honda dealership) of AB and Annandale Road. There will be a small shopping center on the right, an Exxon station on the far right and a Shell station on the far left corners) To this point the distance from the beltway is ~ 2 miles. Turn right onto Annandale Road.
At the second traffic light on Annandale Road (you can only turn left or go straight at this intersection) turn left onto Kerns Road.
On Kerns Road (watch the speed bumps) travel to the traffic signal at the intersection with Sleepy Hollow Road. Turn right on to Sleepy Hollow Road.
On SHR travel about one mile to SHBR on the right. It is just before a
small bridge. If you cross the bridge you have gone to far. SHRA is on the other side of the bridge. Do not confuse the two pools.

495 to Rte 234 -Little River Turnpike (Exit 6- East). At the intersection of Little River Turnpike and Backlick Road (approximately 2 miles from the Beltway, look for Fuddrucker's Restaurant), turn left onto Backlick Road. Go one block to a right turn on Columbia Pike. Travel approximately one mile to a left turn onto Sleepy Hollow Road, just past Mason District Park on the right. Sleepy Hollow Road will only be on the left. SHRA is 1.4 miles down Sleepy Hollow on the left.
From the Beltway North:
495 to Beltway Exit # 8, Route 50 East-(towards Arlington). Approximately two miles from the beltway, at the fifth stoplight, (just past a Honda dealership), make a right on Annandale Road. Turn left at the second stoplight (you can only turn left) at Kerns Road. Follow Kerns Road (watch out for very large speedbumps) to a stoplight at Sleepy Hollow Road. Follow Sleepy Hollow Road approximately one mile. You will first past Sleepy Hollow Bath and Racquet Club before crossing a bridge. Sleepy Hollow Recreation Association will be on your right

We are located off of RT. 50 behind Falls Church High School. If you get off of Highway 495, go east towards the city of Arlington. Take the first right on to Jaguar Rd which changes to Marc Dr.. Take a right on to Holly Hill Road. At the stop sign, take a left on to Camp Alger Rd. The pool is on the right and it is next to Walnut Hill Center.
Rt. 50 and Graham Rd. Go south on to Graham Rd. Take a right on to Camp Alger Rd., it is about a mile or less. The pool is on the left side of the road for about a mile.
